While her acting skills are under scrutiny, she's definitely performed her roles effortlessly. She got a break with The Big Lebowski as Bunny. Her career was launched by the movie and began receiving better offers from films like Urban Legend or Cruel Intentions. But it is American Pie the cult movie about teenagers and sexual encounters that established Reid as a potential star for Hollywood with her role as virgin Vicky. The film did not lead to a big, successful Hollywood career. Reid was a misfire with films like Josie and the Pussycats. She was not able to make a comeback despite her small role in American Pie 2. The offscreen mistakes of Reid, famous and infamous plastic surgery as well as her numerous blink-and miss appearances have made her more of a party-goer or designer as an actor.
